These are two illustrations created for group shows at Light Grey Art Lab in Minneapolis, MD.

I drew my bottle collection for the 6 Degrees show in December 2013. The show featured 100 artists and illustrators from around the world who created a postcard featuring art inspired by their local area. I live in a relatively rural area, so I chose to illustrate these bottles that I’ve found over the years around the creek near my house.

For the Bower Bird show in December 2016, 90 artists created artwork based on the things they collect. I chose to illustrate my grandfather’s pocket knife collection that was built over the years he worked as a High School wood shop teacher. If his students brought them to his class, they got confiscated!
